Well- I celebrated my 23rd birthday in Switzerland! I know it is cheesy (but most of you know I tend to be that way)... but it was a really great point for me to come to and realize what God has done in my life; espcecially since I have been here in Switzerland. Yes, even at the age of 23! He has brought me through a lot (and yet so little) to show me his theme of redemption and unfailing love in my life.
I enjoyed my birthday with a student named Christophe. We have the same birthday! We had lunch together and exchanged gifts!!! We both gave eachother winter gear!!! Then several people within the office took me out in Geneva on Thursday night. It was a good night to set and get to know one another better! Andrew (the other intern) was even nice enough to buy each of us a rose:-)
AND...to say the least, this was my first birthday where I recieved TONS of e-cards!!! Thanks!!! It makes me feel special to know people are thinking about me. Thanks for the phone calls, email and real mail!!!!!
