A kindred spirit is someone who feels and thinks the way you do.So there are many people that are in my life and we just "fit" together. Here is one of them! Jessica Lauren Stewart! I am thinking that if we would have been born at the same time and in the same town we would have been inseparable. Being away from her has made me appreciate her that much more!
We met when she had just come out of 6th grade (and now she is in high school...o my gosh!!!). I was interning for the first time in Mansfield. She wasn't even in the youth group yet. We met because her family was hosting another intern. We just hit it off!!!! Our first time to hang I picked her up and we went shopping...I think at Mardel. HAHAHA!!! Why in the HECK were we shopping there SILFL? I guess the rest is just history.
Here is where the similarities lie: We both think: trampoline's are wonderful, taking pictures, but we are no camera experts, we both have a desire to see and serve in the world, we both can't wait to hold hands with a boy. We love life and had never learned to ski (until I moved to Switzerland). We have joy in simple things. We like sunsets and sunrises, but theres nothing better than the stars. We think flowers are cute and we like t-shirts. Love it with the windows down and loud music. We like road trips, Football games, Baseball games, Letters in the mail, Cute pictures. We love our friends. We like it cold when we sleep. We always check behind the shower curtain when we go in the bathroom. We think every girl is deserving of an authentic romance and they should know they are lovely. We love to laugh and smile But we cry a lot.
The list could go on!!! But the thing I love the most is that our relationship has grown into a friendship, not an older intern, see you next summer, type thing. I love this girl...she is one of my kindred spirits!
