It was a busy but fun weekend! The picture above was of our progressive dinner we had with the youth on Saturday evening! We started out at the youth center and then went to three different homes. One for appatiezers, one for the main Thanksgiving meal and the last for desserts. We all had a really great time! And don't worry...we even got video of our interpretive dancing! It isn't of great quality...but some of you might enjoy it! CLICK HERE TO WATCH!Saturday morning Interyouth had a MADD (Make a Difference Day). We had a service scavenger hunt. We had two hours in Geneva to preform different acts of service! It was fun, I enjoy any time where I get to spend time with students! One of our tasks was to be a street preformer....we even made 2 franks!!! CLICK HERE TO WATCH!!!
And of course when you work hard you have to play hard!!! Thursday night was the monthly "Girls Night." There are several women in the area connected through different churches or through YFC...we try to get together once a month for dinner!
As for an update on my life and how I am adjusting. I confidently say that things are good! I absolutly love working with the youth I have come into contact with. I am staying busy at Westlake. Jesse and Joy are actually having their baby tomorrow morning so I am helping with as much as I can. I taught on Sunday and will be teaching the next two Friday nights as well as next Sunday. Work in the YFC office is still going well. I am going to be using my good ol' Public Relation Skills....I love PR and I don't think the world could survive without it! So that is fun! I feel rusty though...I haven't had a PR class since December...I am wondering why I felt like I needed the money enough to sell my books back?!?!?! Although things are going well I am seeking a life outside of work! I am hoping that by the end of my time here I will have a community of people. I know that takes time though!
Well, I think that is it for updates...o except....the mountains are starting to get snow which is so beautiful! Maybe I will be able to take some pics soon!!!

if you live in SWITZERLAND for a year and you do not learn to ski ..... i will physically punch you in the arm or something!!!!! (i'm a wimp, i know)
really ... please .... consider it. even for a day. or a half day. at least do it for me!!!!! ha. :)
