A little background. I went to a private Christian University in Oklahoma. There I met and became closely bound with about 20 girls. On any given occasion there would be about 15 of us together! Some might say we were obnoxious...and we probably were. BUT...the friendships we have together is really remarkable. We all think it is rare. I know we are probably on the honeymoon stage right out of college wondering why in the world we left each other...but I think it goes beyond that. We have something special that I think is hard for most people to find. We all talk about it and we all realize what a mystery and a gift it is. All of these girls have a part in making me into the woman I am today! Each one of them has invested into me in their own special way! I am forever grateful and debted to these friendships. As the years go on I know each friendship will look different. But I am thankful for the foundation our relationships are built on.
The top picture on the left is a picture of me and my SIX roommates! YES..and WE LOVED IT! There was never a dull moment in the house! There were tears, laughter, agony, joy, pranks, loads of laundry, tons of dirty dishes, sprickets, mold, birthday parties, theme parties, cake parties....parties parties parties....all of those together created a loads of memories!!!!
The other picture is a good amount of our big group of friends! I had to use the sorry? pictures in honor of part of my last post!!! To pull this post in a complete circle I just want to say that I am REALLY proud of all of my friends. Our lives have all taken completely different course. And Michelle on her blog stated it well. We are all normal people living normal lives but...we are all doing it in honor of God and in the deepest parts of all of our hearts we want to serve His kingdom and make his name known. I am so proud of all of them! Here is what all of their lives look like:
