Leading the Way...

Every month YFC hosts an area Youth Leaders Network meeting for the youth leaders in this area. It is a really valuable time to come together. Through the network we can share ideas, pray for each other's ministry and join together for combined youth events. It is a good thing. At the last meeting Andrew opened up with a part of scripture that has been a good driving force for me to start out this semester. The Lord continues to use it with me daily. I am reminded that unless I allow the LORD to go before me as I work it will all be in vain making the task tiring, more work and with less support. This verse applies to all areas of my life...my work in Geneva, my future, my relationships....... I hope it comes as an encouragement for you.

Psalm 127:1-2

Unless the LORD builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To retire late,
To eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.
